JJ SHIPPING LIMITED – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to JJ Shipping Limited. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, online store, and all products and services we offer. By accessing, browsing, or placing an order with us, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please refrain from using our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
Provide accurate, current, and complete personal and payment information.

3. Product Information

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However:

Minor variations in appearance may occur due to screen settings or product updates.
Availability is subject to stock and may change without notice.
Prices are listed in Kenya Shillings (KES) and are inclusive or exclusive of VAT depending on product type.

4. Ordering and Payment

Orders can be placed through our online platform, by phone, or WhatsApp.
Payment must be made in full before order dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, card payments, or cash on delivery (for selected local deliveries).
In the event of a payment dispute, JJ Shipping reserves the right to suspend order processing.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping terms are governed by our separate Shipping Policy. Key highlights:

Delivery timelines depend on whether the product is sourced locally or from overseas.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Ownership of goods transfers to the customer once delivery is completed.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. In general:

Eligible products can be returned within 7 days of delivery in unused, original condition.
Refunds are processed within 7 business days after product inspection.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

7. Warranty and Defective Products

Some products (e.g., electronics, generators, power tools) come with manufacturer warranties.
Warranty coverage and duration will be specified on product listings or invoices.
To claim warranty, customers must present proof of purchase and provide adequate description of the defect.
JJ Shipping is not responsible for defects resulting from misuse, poor maintenance, or unauthorized repairs.

8. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

JJ Shipping is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our products or delays in delivery.
Our total liability in any claim is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the product in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website or marketing platforms—including images, videos, logos, product descriptions, and graphics—is the property of JJ Shipping Limited or its licensors. It may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our written consent.

10. Force Majeure

JJ Shipping shall not be liable for failure or delay in fulfilling orders due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, port delays, customs issues, or supplier disruptions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be resolved through negotiation and mediation.
If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to a court of competent jurisdiction in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kenyan law governs these Terms and all related transactions.

12. Amendments

JJ Shipping Limited reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Revised terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
