At JJ Shipping Limited, we are committed to delivering your orders in a timely, secure, and efficient manner. Our products are sourced from both local warehouses within Kenya and overseas suppliers, including manufacturers and partners based in Asia, Europe, and North America. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, timelines, and conditions based on the origin of each product.

 

2. Shipping Origin & Fulfillment Categories

a) Locally Fulfilled Orders

  • Products marked as “In Stock – Local Warehouse” are stored in our Kenyan fulfillment centers.
     

  • These are typically ready for immediate dispatch after order confirmation and payment.
     

b) Internationally Fulfilled Orders (Overseas Suppliers)

  • Products labeled as “Shipped from Overseas” are sourced from our global suppliers.
     

  • Orders are consolidated, packaged, and shipped internationally via air or sea freight, then cleared through customs before local delivery.
     

 

3. Shipping Timelines

a) Local Warehouse Deliveries

  • Processing Time: 1 business day
     

  • Delivery Time: 1–3 business days for most urban locations (Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret)
     

  • Remote Areas: Up to 5 business days depending on courier coverage
     

  • Courier Services Used: Fargo, G4S, Wells Fargo, or other reliable domestic couriers
     

b) Overseas Supplier Deliveries

  • Processing & Dispatch Time: 2–5 business days from overseas warehouse
     

  • International Transit Time:
     

    • Air Freight: 7–12 business days
       

    • Sea Freight: 25–45 business days (only for bulk or large-volume shipments)
       

  • Customs Clearance & Last-Mile Delivery: 3–5 business days after arrival in Kenya
     

  • Total Estimated Delivery Time:
     

    • Air Freight: 10–17 business days from order date
       

    • Sea Freight: 28–50 business days from order date
       

 

4. Shipping Charges

  • Local Deliveries: Flat-rate shipping or free shipping may apply depending on product category, order value, or promotional offers.
     

  • International Deliveries: Charges depend on volumetric weight, shipping method, destination, and customs duties. Fees are transparently displayed at checkout or during invoice confirmation.
     

  • Customers will be notified in advance of any applicable customs or clearance fees.
     

 

5. Order Tracking

  • All orders (local and international) are trackable via SMS, email, or website once dispatched.
     

  • Local courier tracking numbers will be provided once the item is handed over to the courier.
     

  • For overseas shipments, international tracking will be shared after the item leaves the supplier’s warehouse and again when cleared in Kenya for last-mile delivery.
     

 

6. Mixed Orders (Local + Overseas Items)

If your order contains both local and international products, the items will be shipped separately. You may receive multiple packages on different delivery dates, each with its respective tracking number and estimated delivery window.

 

7. Delays & Exceptions

While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, unforeseen circumstances such as customs delays, weather disruptions, or supplier-side backorders may extend delivery times. In such cases:

  • Customers will receive real-time updates and revised ETAs.
     

  • JJ Shipping will offer reasonable support and options in case of excessive delays.
     

 

8. Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently ship within Kenya. Regional shipping within East Africa may be available upon request.
     

  • Some items, such as high-capacity batteries or flammable materials, may face import restrictions or extended customs checks.
     

 

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete to avoid failed deliveries or returns.
     

  • Be available or assign someone to receive and inspect the package upon delivery.
     

  • For overseas orders, remain responsive in case customs documentation or approvals are needed.

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, exchanges, or returns may be issued for items shipped through our platform, specifically shoes, generators, and generator spares. Please review the following terms before making a return request.

 

1. Eligibility Criteria for Refunds

â–ª Shoes:

  • Returns must be initiated within 5 days of delivery.
     

  • Shoes must be unworn, in original packaging, and with tags intact.
     

  • Refunds are not accepted for shoes damaged due to wear, misuse, or alteration.
     

â–ª Generators:

  • Refund requests must be made within 5 days of delivery if shipped from Kenya or within 1 month if shipped from overseas.
     

  • Eligible only if the generator is non-functional upon arrival or has factory defects.
     

  • Must be returned unused and in original packaging with all accessories/manuals intact.
     

â–ª Generator Spares:

  • Returns accepted within 5 days for spares that are incorrectly delivered or defective.
     

  • Items must be unused and returned in the original sealed condition.
     

2. Types of Refunds Offered

  • Full Refund: Approved if the product is returned as per the eligibility criteria.
     

  • Partial Refund: May be applied if the product shows signs of use, damage (not our fault), or missing components.
     

  • Exchange or Store Credit: Offered upon request in lieu of a cash refund, where applicable.
     

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Customized shoe orders.
     

  • Generator spares that have been installed or tampered with.
     

  • Generators that fail due to improper installation, fuel misuse, or overloading.
     

  • Clearance or discounted items marked FINAL SALE.
     

4. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us via phone (0745 100 048) within the applicable return window.
     

  2. Provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
     

  3. Send clear photos of the item showing the issue or damage.
     

  4. Repackage the item securely and return it to the designated address (shared after review).
     

After receiving your item, our quality control team will inspect it and notify you of the refund decision.

5. Timelines for Refunds

  • Once your return is approved and processed, the refund will be issued within 7–10 business days.
     

  • You will be notified via SMS or email when the refund is initiated.
     

6. Shipping & Handling Fees

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item was defective or incorrectly shipped.
     

  • Return shipping costs:
     

    • Paid by the customer for size exchanges or non-defect-related returns.
       

    • Paid by JJ Shipping Company Ltd for incorrect deliveries or verified defects.
       

7. Refund Method

Refunds are processed using the original payment method:

  • Mobile money (M-Pesa) or bank transfer.
     

  • Store credit can also be issued upon request for future purchases.
